About the Blue Lake

It changes colour from grey to a  brilliant cobalt blue in about October and remains that way until  March. This changing of the colour is an unexplained phenomenon. The Blue lake is the source of   the town's water supply.

Did you know.

The scientists  believe that   it  changes  colour is because of the limestone.
