Or that the Tiger is related to the Lion, Leopard and Jaguar?
Or that the Elephant is the largest land mammal and that the Elephant drinks by sucking it through their nostrils and than squirting it into their mouths?
Or that there is two different kinds of Elephants the African Elephant and the Indian Elephant (known as the Asian Elephant)?

Tigers

The Tiger lives in Asia and belongs to the cat family meaning that it is related to the Lion, Leopard and Jaguar. Tigers are carnivores which means it eats meat such as deer and cattle to snake, termites. The Tiger has its own set of stripes which are black the spaces between the stripes are yellow. The large male can grow to 4 m or 13 feet which includes the tail and weighs 300kg. The Tiger also has thick fur.  The Tiger usually lives on its own, only coming together at mating time. When the female has cubs she usually has only two to three. They stay with the mother until they are two years old. The Siberian Tiger is now endangered.

Elephants

Elephants live in India and Southeast Asia and Africa. All Elephants eat the same sort of food like grasses, leaves, roots, fruit and even bark. The Elephant has grey looking skin which  is a bit rough. The Elephants skin is very sensitive to sunburn, so the Elephant has mud baths or dust baths regularly to protect themselves and skin. The Asian Elephant has smaller ears than the African Elephant. The Asian Elephant needs to have lots of shade for they do not like the sun like the African Elephant. The Asian Elephant reaches to a height of 3m or 10 feet and the African Elephant 4m or 13 feet. Elephants usually live in small family groups  of 5 to 15 mothers plus their children. The family are led the most experienced and oldest female. When males are at puberty(teenagers)they leave the family group and form their own male groups. Did you know that Elephants walk on their TIPTOES!!

                          Giraffes

The Giraffe lives in North Africa. The Giraffe eats the leaves of the acacia trees for its leaves are one of its main foods. The Giraffe is a mammal with a long neck that still has only a seven neck vertebrae. Each Giraffe has their own unique set of markings .

Their markings are brown against a buff coloured skin. The Giraffe has a long neck and its head can reach  up to 5m above the ground. There is another type of Giraffe called the Reticulated Giraffe which is deeper brown with a white coloured skin. Lions are Giraffes' main predators. They protect themselves by kicking with their hooves. They live in herds of about 12 to 15 members, sometimes leaving and joining another herd. Each herd has a leader bull (male Giraffe) and is made up of cows (female Giraffes) , calves (including young males). Females are best at sensing danger.
