Theme Parks

Introduction

In the north-east of Queensland there is the Gold Coast. In the Gold Coast there are four theme parks. They are, Seaworld, Dreamworld, Wet'n Wild and Movieworld. The information that follows is about them.

Seaworld

Seaworld: Dolphins

Seaworld is a theme park with daily shows, and marine animals, such as smart and intelligent dolphins and playful seals. Seaworld also offers wonderful rides, shows and attractions.It will teach you about the marine's dolphins and seals.

Dreamworld

Dreamworld has terrifying rides, fun rides at the blue lagoon and an Australian wild life park.There is the Tower of Terror which takes you into the air in a small cart and then it falls backwards. Also there is the Giant drop, the tallest ride in the world.

Wet'n Wild

Wet'n Wild, a theme park at Oxenford on the Pacific Highway has water slides, rides, including their new ride, The Mammoth Falls. Wet'n Wild has been honoured by the Amusement Buisness Magazine.

Movieworld

Movieworld is only twenty minutes from the Surfers Paradise on the Pacific Highway. Or you could go  there from the Brisbane airport which is forty minutes south. Movieworld turned ten on the third of July 2001 and is owned by Warner Bros.
